Cermet Reamer is a type of reamer with a cutting edge made of a material called “Cermet”. Cermet is a synthetic material combining the good qualities of ceramic (wear resistance and high temperature resistance) with metal (toughness and flexibility) making cermet reamer an outstanding tool for applications that requires high heat and wear resistance as well as toughness and strength. This includes materials such as cast iron, pre-hardened steel, or steel applications with higher speed.
